Vox White (2024)

Description

The vineyards from which this wine is made combine the freshness of our mountains with the generous sunshine of Provence.

Balance is achieved through the blending of old, sometimes century-old, Clairette vines from the Annonciation vineyard with younger Clairette vines from the Saint Vincent plot and Clairette grapes from other growers, which have a more pronounced freshness. Roussanne and Grenache Blanc contribute power and length.

Tasting

A beautiful golden-yellow robe with green highlights. A pleasant nose reveals subtle aromas of white flowers with hints of white fruit reminiscent of peach and pear. On the palate, it is round and tender, evolving into a lovely freshness. The persistent finish is driven by minerality.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS
Enjoy with a wide range of light dishes, composed salads, grilled or lightly sauced fish, shellfish (prawns, langoustines), cheeses, white meats cooked with spices, or fragrant Provençal cuisine (vegetable tian, anchovy dip).

Grape variety

Clairette 40% (freshness and finesse), Roussanne 30% (aromatic power), Grenache blanc 30% (roundness on the palate)

Vinification

Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled concrete tanks: slow fermentations allow for the expression of each grape variety's specific aromas. The wine is aged on its fine lees for 6 months. The blending of the grape varieties is done shortly before bottling.
