Pax Red Magnum (2023)

Description

The vineyard plots behind this wine combine the freshness of our mountains, the generous sunshine of Provence, and the depth of soils nourishing vines that are, in some cases, nearly a century old. The most iconic slopes lie on deep clay soils at an average altitude of 380 meters, within the natural amphitheater separating the two abbeys of Le Barroux.

With an aging potential of up to 10 years, this elegant, generous red wine is a perfect accompaniment to festive meals.

Tasting

A nose of liquorice with notes of caramel. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with silky tannins. An elegant, spicy finish of impressive length.

Grape variety

Grenache 70% (for its generosity and aging potential) Syrah 30% (for its freshness and finesse)
Pax Red Magnum (2023)

Vinification

Hand-harvested, our grapes are picked at perfect ripeness. Gentle pump-overs and aging in concrete tanks (18 months) help avoid overly aggressive tannins.
