Vox Red (2024)

Description

The meticulous selection of the plots used in this wine allows the full freshness and generous fruit of our beautiful mountain terroirs to shine through.

"This is a truly beautiful Ventoux wine! It belongs among the elite and is a credit to Ventoux," commentary on "On va déguster," France Inter.

"A beautiful terroir in the heart of Ventoux," round, full-bodied, brimming with ripe fruit and a beautifully structured tannic framework.

Tasting

Beautiful, deep garnet color. The nose reveals fruity aromas of Morello cherry, blackcurrant, and raspberry. The palate is smooth, with a lovely sense of volume and balance, and the red fruit flavors continue to unfold generously, culminating in a luscious finish with notes of licorice.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS
Enjoy with grilled meats or a charcuterie board. It pairs wonderfully with a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes, such as ratatouille, regional dishes like Provençal daube, or duck breast with figs. It also goes perfectly with firm cheeses.

Grape variety

Syrah 47% (freshness and finesse), Grenache 53% (generosity and abundance of fruit)

Vinification

Traditional vinification in concrete tanks with 18 days of maceration without stems. Extraction is carried out by racking at the beginning of fermentation; then gentle pump-overs are used to avoid harsh tannins. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in concrete tanks for at least 9 months before bottling.
